8 x HEAR THE VOICES OF DEVASTATION

Soooo...

Italy, Italy, Italy..

SUCKED. I expected so much better. Roma, is dirty, full of horny old guys and rude people. The theft rates are just insane. I had to walk with full alert and sleep with one eye open. Especially at the hotel we stayed at the first night.

But anyway, my carry on was stolen. My carry on was my deicide patch bag with my ipod, my chargers, and some of my clothes. What hurt me the most was losing the bag because it brought back SOOO many memories (I saw so many bands with that bag) but now it's gone. And that hurts. Well anyway, our things were stolen from the bus and we all have a tingle that it was the bus driver who sold our stuff to the hindus (Mind you there is a HUGE population of hindus in Roma). Il colloseo was amazing, Just thinking all this was made so long ago was just an incredible thought. Well anyway, point is that we had to end up staying outside of a police station for 4 hours while the adults did the reports and argued with the bus driver (who was extremely hot, strange to say). After the 4 hours, he was the one that had to drive us back and we were shitting bricks thinking, holy fuck this guys gonna drive us off a cliff or something. But thank god, nothing happened and we arrived safely in the middle of a creepy ass street, not knowing that our "hotel" was gonna be a complete piece of shit. So we went upstairs, super tired *when we arrived in rome, we immediately started doing things*. We then checked out 1 day later and then found out the hotel was haunted cause it used to be something for nuns and a nun died. I dont know, the whole shannanigans. Oh, we missed the Sistine Chapel because our passports were also stolen (they were in one of the bags) so we had to spend most of the day in the US embassy in Rome. FUCKING SUCKED.

We (I) was super fuckin stoked to leave Rome because I definately did not enjoy it. I had a pretty gay experience. We got on our way to Perugia, A beautiful city with mountains and grass. Not a packed city with assholes, such as Rome was. We stayed in the Holiday INN Perugia. IT WAS SUCH A CHANGE FROM BEING IN A GAY HOTEL ROOM TO A BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY INN ROOM. We had a great time there, I repelled down a 900 year old castle tower on top of a mountain. It was awesome. We walked up a mountain (FUCKING EXHAUSTING!) and walked around the beautiful town of Assisi. It was a very cool day, we met up with other groups of the program and we started doing like 305 gang signs and shit to intimidate them. It was pretty competitive, yet awesome. But at the end of the day, it started getting cheesy cause the people who were talking to us about life and about not fearing anything (hence the fact that we climbed down a 900 year old tower) started to get mad cheesy talking about "where do you see yourself in 10 years" while playing real bad techno.

Some experience.

We then left Perugia and arrived in Firenze (Florence). It was nice but I wouldn't live there, it's just a bunch of once again, hindu vendors and pick pocketers. After Florence, we went to Pisa which was pretty boring but cool at the same time, seeing the leaning tower (which I expected to be WAY bigger) and il duomo. After Pisa, I think we left to La Spiazza where we went to Cinque terre (5 beautiful islands) and went to the beach. The waters great! The air over there is just so clean. You can actually feel the freshness. Anyway, after all that we went to Montecarlo, where they have the grand prix and shit. It was nice and expensive.

After Monaco, we went to FRAWNCE. I wasnt too excited about France because I've never had much interest for it. But it was nice. The people were strangely nice. And it's funny cause the day that we got to France was the 4th of July, hahaa. I thought our bus was gonna be burnt down or something. So we had a homestay, I made a beautiful russian friend, I got shitfaced off of champagne, I realized that I can walk into a bar with no problem what so ever and order whatever alcoholic beverage I desire. Pretty fucking sweet and strange. We then went to some more medieval villages and I d on't know. I felt pretty fucking metal, to be honest.

After all the frawnceeness, was Spain. Oh fuck, were we happy to get the fuck out of France. Spain was beautiful, the most beautiful country I saw. Italy was nice, IN SOME PARTS. So I did the macarena at a dinner that we had and we saw the spanish dance, forgot what its called. It was awesome, it was one guy on guitar that kept saying OLE after someone stopped dancing, then it was 3 beautiful girls, a singer, and an old guy who danced really good. Like Nelson said. "That was......intense" LOL.

We learned how to cook Paella, we shopped and then the last days of the trip, we stayed at the most BEAUTIFUL hotel ever. It wasn't beautiful, It was just mad futuristic. My roommate was Lorena (she was like my best friend on the trip. Supposedly I was her "boyfriend").
The last dinner was at the Hard Rock in Madrid and we had an awesome time! I miss it already! We had a hot waiter who was singing along with Sepultura (Sepultura was playing)and that just gave him 53 brownie points in my book. I met alot of hot guys on the way and I wish I wasn't such an idiot and could've continued with the conversation.
